Oh, wow, unicorns and qilins. They really are pretty creatures. I like the new unit on Charms too. Decoration charms are fun. I should practice those when I get home. I am a little worried about dueling for Defense though. Maybe I should spend more time in the Dueling Club Room...

Oh! It snowed earlier today! I would love to go out and draw or paint the scenery today. I think snowscapes are the most beautiful. I do love looking at landscapes and seascapes too though. I could use a nice walk around the lake and I think Kumo-chan needs the exercise too. He's never seen snow before.

My brothers are coming to the Alumni event. It's been about a month and a half since I last saw them. I kind of miss them, even if I hear from any or all of them almost everyday. Ah, well, talking through the phone or texting them is quite different from really talking, ne... I do hope they don't do something embarrassing though.
I've started on a couple of paintings that I'm going to contribute for the silent auction the Art Club is holding. I'm thinking of putting up one or two large-sized prints of fireworks or landscape pictures too.

I have to remember to keep my earmuffs out of Kumo's reach. He still loves shredding stuff to pieces. I would probably have to miss the next Herbology class if he got a hold of my earmuffs. He fortunately leaves my ink bottles and parchment rolls alone. Ah, speaking of parchment rolls. I'm done working on the essays for Care of Magical Creatures and Charms. I think I'm going to the library tomorrow, to check on books that contain information on mermaids. It might be nice to have more on them for the essay due week.
